SELLER POLICY
Last Updated: May 1, 2025
This Seller Policy is supplemental to Resyn's Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Seller Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.
1. What is Resyn?
Resyn is an online social marketplace that connects Buyers and Sellers. As outlined in our Terms of Service, Resyn does not process payments between users, verify items, inspect merchandise, or become involved in transactions. All payment arrangements are made directly between Buyers and Sellers.
2. Dual Roles: Acting as Both Buyer and Seller
Users may act as both Buyers and Sellers on our platform, particularly in communities centered around specialized items where trading is common. When you are selling or listing items on the Service, this Seller Policy applies to your activities. When you are purchasing items, please refer to our Buyer Policy, as different guidelines and responsibilities apply to Buyer activities.
If you engage in trade transactions (exchanging items rather than purchasing them), both this Seller Policy and our Buyer Policy will apply to your activities in the respective roles of the transaction.
3. Listing Requirements
3.1 Listing Accuracy and Honesty
When creating listings on the Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate descriptions. All listings must include honest and detailed descriptions of the items being sold.
- Disclose all defects and issues. Clearly state any flaws, damage, or issues with the items in your listings.
- Use accurate photos. Use your own photos that truly represent the actual items being sold. Do not use stock photos or images of similar items that are not the exact item for sale.
- Set clear expectations. Clearly communicate your terms regarding shipping, handling time, payment methods, returns, and any other relevant policies.
- List items you possess. Only list items that are currently in your possession and available for sale.
- Price accurately. Set prices that reflect your actual selling intentions.
